After years of interest in flat animation, starting in that first viewing of South Park to the uniquely illustrated designs seen in Japanese manga advertising, Richard has commenced an exploration of new character designs assisted with movement and auditory elements.

In an extension of his Pop series, Richard’s holographic artworks are driven by a need to create art that moves and interacts with its audience.
First born from experiments of spray painting on a variety of materials, this need to see the work move has now emerged into the use of interactive holographic vinyl.
